Remarks from Board Chair Maxine B. Baker at the Class of 2010’s Graduation:
“The power of this group, the creativity of this group, the tenaciousness of this group is needed by this organization. As you brought your entire selves to this process, as you trusted this process, please bring your talents and trust to this organization. Get involved, be involved. Bring your gifts to the table. Maybe you have meeting space that can be used for class days, maybe you’d like to participate on a panel, and maybe your artistic or technical abilities could be used to help move this organization. Bring your gifts of gratitude and abundance to us.
My hope for you is that in 10 years this class is still active, that you as members of this organization are still active, that you continue to find value in LGW and that you invest your time and resources. This like any relationship, must be worked on, must be nurtured, by each one of us.
Continue to support each other. Continue to display the creativity that I have seen from you. Continue to have fun and respect each other. These are life long, life changing relationships.
Today, you complete the journey of the LGW program. Tomorrow, hopefully, you will become fully active, engaged lifelong members of LGW.”
